Review

Mass Effect 3 is an action role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3

I

know I am a little bit late with this review, but I wanted to express my thoughts on this game. This is the first Mass Effect that I had a chance to play, so being a complete n00b at the game will help with giving an unbiased opinion. Simply put, I liked it. Now I have been a Gears Of War fan so jumping on this game I felt that the controls were identical. The cover system is decent, the graphics are great, and even though the online aspect is only coop, I still had fun with it. The single player campaign was great. I did get glitched with a few side mission but other than that, it played well. My first time around I was unaware that you could pick your race and was stuck with the default solider class. I really enjoy playing as an Adept in single player but LOVED my Quarian Infiltrator in CO OP.

I would definitely recommend this title to any shooter/rpg fans. On most RPG’s the shooting aspect is “meh” but I feel BioWare did a hell of a job with the controls. I like how each character has his/her own evasion move while the bigger guys are strong enough to walk out of harms way(Krogan headbanging anyone?) Another thing that I liked are the packs you unlock on co op. I was lucky and unlocked a few Quarian Infiltrators so I could customize her to my liking :-). The only downfall to my experiences with this game were the glitches. I cannot recall the exact missions, but I did get stuck a few times to where I could not do certain side mission. 3.5 is my rating! Feel free to agree/disagree with me in the comments.
