We are 1 day away from when Venus will be visibly passing between the earth and the sun. If you are on the east coast you can see it around 6:04pm, Central 5:04, and the west coast at 3:06. This just weeks after the annular solar ecliple. Alot going on up there lately, are you excited? This is a very rare event, usually occurring in pairs with the first of the pair appearing in 2004. After today no one alive today will witness the transit of Venus again. Use the proper safety precautions and common sense when looking at our star.
Above is a picture from the transit of Venus that took place in 2004.

I cannot wait for 6:04pm!
Same here. I wish I had some eclipse glasses! I made a pin hole projector so we will see how this goes. It is very cloudy so I am hoping it clears up soon.
