Review
ay of the Dead is a horror film which is a remake of George A. Romero’s zombie film of the same name, which was the third in Romero’s Dead series. The film is directed by Steve Miner and written by Jeffrey Reddick.
So the other night I was looking through Netflix and came across this movie(Day Of The Dead) I thought about watching and continued to browse. I came back around, watched the trailer on YouTube, and thought “what the hell”. Boy am I glad that I watched this movie! I enjoy watching most zombie movies, but I get really enjoy “runners”! Not the slow-moving, crippled zombies(I also enjoy crawlers), but runners! They are everywhere in this movie. At one point a zombie jumps through a window, charges at a couple full sprint! There are a few moments like this which really make the movie exciting.
There is a little love story in the movie that I feel fits well. If you are expecting a great story to capture your heart, look elsewhere. If you are looking for some fast paced fun, blood, and zombies. Then head on over to Netflix to stream this bad boy.
It is kind of ironic that the title is Day Of The Dead when almost the entire movie is set during the night. Nick Cannon did not really cut it for me. His bad acting really showed in this movie, not really expecting much in the first place.
