The Walking Dead Comic Book

So I started watching The Walking Dead on AMC a couple years back. I never heard of the comic so I became a fan of the show not even aware of a comic book. Well over the last few weeks I started reading the comic book and have became a bigger fan of the story. Now this is my first comic book that I have EVER read, and was a complete noob.
I am here to encourage other fans of the show to give the comic a try. The stories are very similar but are not the same. I’m going to point out some differences in the two and try not to add any spoilers. So in the comic Daryl is not a character, he is an exclusive character to the AMC show. In the comic book Dale and Andrea are a couple as well as Carol and Tyrese(T dogg?). Sophia’s story is also different from the show but will not go into details. There are also other characters in comic such as Allen and Donna as well as their twin boys. If you can not wait until October for season 3 of The Walking Dead go ahead a pick up a few issues and enjoy the story of the walking dead in comic form.
